Peperomia argyreia, commonly known as Watermelon Peperomia, is a visually stunning houseplant with round, fleshy leaves patterned with silver-green stripes that mimic the rind of a watermelon. Native to South America, this compact, slow-growing plant forms dense clusters and is highly adaptable to indoor environments. Its thick leaves store moisture, making it drought-tolerant and ideal for beginners.
