‘Furman’s Red’ is a compact, woody shrub featuring small, glossy green leaves that emit a pleasant fragrance. The plant maintains a tidy, mounding form, making it suitable for borders, rock gardens, and containers.​

Growth Habit:
Typically grows 2–3 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide, forming a dense, rounded mound.​

Watering Instructions:
Once established, it is drought-tolerant and requires minimal watering. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, especially in poorly drained soils.​

Soil Needs:
Prefers well-drained soils, including sandy, loamy, or rocky types. Tolerates poor soils but does not perform well in heavy clay unless amended for drainage.​

Sun Requirements:
